Ms. Jen Weaver
Jen Weaver built the first car-free new construction multifamily in Austin. Ms. Weaver is a Registered Architect, Registered Interior Designer, and Realtor in the State of Texas. She serves as a Downtown Commissioner and Co-chairs the Urban Land Institute Urban Council for Austin. Ms. Weaver also serves on the Downtown Austin Alliance Built Environment Committee and the Housing Committee. She holds a Master in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.

State and local governments have been making the news in recent years; pushing legislation, new funding and other proposals to advance attainable housing production and preservation in their communities. This panel will bring together a few examples from around the country to discuss changes at the state and local levels, what has been successful and where challenges remain.
