Homelessness in the U.S. is both a humanitarian and an economic crisis. Building upon the new ULI publication ‘Homeless to Housed,’ panelists will discuss how the real estate industry can be part of the solution by developing housing and programmatic spaces to support people experiencing homelessness. Building transitional and affordable housing, influencing policies and perspectives, and creating impactful and sustainable partnerships are just a few examples of how the real estate industry can help address homelessness. This discussion is part of ULI’s Homeless to Housed Initiative made possible by the vision, support, and guidance of philanthropist and entrepreneur Preston Butcher.
