She has 25 years of affordable housing and real estate development experience spanning the public, nonprofit and private sectors, providing a broad understanding of development challenges.
In her previous position as the Director of Real Estate Development for a Milwaukee neighborhood-based nonprofit, Shannon was instrumental in forming the Milwaukee Community Land Trust and ensuring quality affordable homeownership options for all families. In her home city of Indianapolis, her company led the housing renovation movement in the low-income neighborhoods of the city’s near eastside, which later gained momentum when selected as the Super Bowl’s Legacy Project.
