Touzet Studio

Jacqueline is a founding Principal of Touzet Studio, based in Wynwood. She and her partner Carlos Prio-Touzet founded this innovative design studio in 2004.

The work of Touzet Studio has been described as finely crafted modern architecture and design which is mindful of its context, culture and climate. The studio is also very focused on high performance design that is crafted specifically for each individual site and client as well as the environment.

Touzet Studio is recognized as one of the leading design firms in Florida and has completed work for some of the most discriminating design driven brands in the world, such as Apple, Nike and numerous private sector clients. They are designing some of the most innovative multifamily and hospitality projects addressing resiliency and innovation in Miami. Currently in construction are Co-living and market rate Apartments at Coconut Grove Station for Grassriver and Terra. Touzet Studio is also currently designing Shepherd Eco’s Hospitality and Micro Community Project in Wynwood and Coliving Apartments and Boutique Hotel for Urbin Retreat in Miami Beach. Their work has been published nationally and internationally and the studio has won numerous local and state AIA awards.

Jacqueline is a graduate of Cornell University. She was awarded “Architect of the Year” by her peers in the American Institute of Architects in Miami and is a recipient of the Silver Medal of Architecture Design, the highest honor the AIA can bestow.

Prior to forming Touzet Studio, Jackie was a Vice President at Arquitectonica who led the multifamily work for Florida and Asia. Her built work before Touzet Studio includes numerous award-winning, internationally acclaimed mixed-use projects such as Cyberport, the Carillon, One Miami, the Setai and other multifamily high-rise buildings across the world. She also was a Construction Project Manager for The Related Company on the Apogee Condominium.

Jackie is the Chair of the Resiliency Committee for University of Miami Real Estate and Development Board, an Advisor to the AIA Sea Level Rise Committee and has served as adjunct professors in design and guest critic at University of Miami and Florida International University. She is a passionate advocate of the importance of design in helping to prepare communities and shape cities and buildings for the realities of climate change.
